💡 Vendor Tips — Break-Even Planning
- Include everything. Vendors consistently underestimate costs by forgetting small items — parking, snacks, extra bags, a backup phone charger. Add a buffer for anything you might have missed.
- Production cost is per convention, not per unit. Only count inventory you're actually bringing to this specific event, not your full stock.
- Your average order value matters more than you think. Raising your AOV by $5 through bundles or upsells can cut your break-even order count significantly.
- Low Risk doesn't mean guaranteed profit. It means break-even is achievable — you still need to show up, engage customers, and have products people want.
